One God

I believe that the God of the Bible is the one and only true God who created the heavens and the earth. He is eternally revealed as three persons; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is fully man and fully God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed many miracles, died for our sins on the cross, was bodily resurrected, is now seated in heaven with the Father and will soon return to earth. Through His death and resurrection He provided the way to eternal life that can only be found through Him.

Holy Spirit

I believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within every born again believer in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts sin and regenerates lost souls as new creations in Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers the Christian to live a holy and righteous life. The Holy Spirit also gives gifts to each believer for the edifying and building up of the body of Christ.

The Bible

I believe the Bible is the authoritative, infallible and inerrant word of God useful for reproving, correcting and instructing in the way of life. It is the main standard that Christians are called to follow, in belief and in deed.

Salvation

I believe people are saved by grace through faith alone, and not based on good works or works of the law. Salvation is given to all who admit their sinfulness, repent, then humbly accept the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. In this way no one can boast that they have attained salvation by their own merit, but all are reliant fully on God’s grace for eternal life.

Church

I believe in the universal Church of believers that consists of local churches throughout the world. The Church is the main way by which God establishes His Kingdom on earth. Every believer is called to be part of a local church, where they are to love one another and the community in tangible ways.

Judgment

I believe that Jesus will return to the earth at the end of the ages and judge every person according the choices they have made in their lives. Those who have received Christ as Lord will join with Him to spend eternity in heaven, while those who have rejected Him and the free gift of salvation will be condemned to hell for all eternity.
